HOURS AND DIRECTIONS: We are located at 1445 E. Oakton St. on the corner of Oakton and Elm Streets in Des Plaines, IL, between River and Mannheim Roads. Our hours are the following: Mon & Thur: 3p - 5p; Tues & Fri: 8a - 12p and 3p - 5p; Sat: 10a - 12p; Wed and Sun: Closed.  If these hours are not convenient, please call and we will do our best to accomodate you.

APPOINTMENTS: Please kindly note that our hosptial operates on an appointment system. Please call to schedule an appointment or to talk to the doctor to obtain more information on what your loved pet may need. 

FEES: We make every effort to ensure that all fees are fair and reasonable and you are encouraged to discuss charges before services are rendered. We accept cash, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express and Care Credit. Checks with a bank-imprinted name are also welcome provided proper identification of the signer of the check is given.

MISSION: We hope to provide the highest quality of care for your pets and to fulfill all of your needs as a pet owner at a reasonable price. We are receptive to any comments or suggestions you have to help us reach our goals. Please feel free to consult us at any time. This is your hospital too.

HISTORY: Currently practicing in Chicago at Logan Square Animal Hospital for over 25 years, Dr. Basran built Oak Elm Animal Hospital in 2008 with the hope of establishing an animal practice predicated on the same principles that guide him at Logan Square Animal Hospital: providing the finest health care for your loved cats and dogs at affordable prices.
